TEACHING WISDOM AND COMPASSION TO THE MIND THAT IS MAKING AI: Moment by moment, we let screens and ads control us. What are the results? More food and shelter, yet less wisdom and love. More computers and faster shipping, yet less reverence. How is it possible that we live in a time when we can cross the oceans in a day, but are more segregated than ever? If we don't act right now then we may destroy all life on the planet.
How do we respond to artificial intelligence? How do we respond to a tool that is now teaching our children? Simple: wisdom and compassion. At the monastic academy we learn to cultivate wisdom and compassion through daily efforts. We believe that through these efforts we can tackle this AI crisis.
